Bob Buziak, former President of RCA Records and former President of
Sony's TriStar Music Group formed Buziak & Company LLC, in late
1995. Since 1996 as a consultant he has worked with several clients in
the Telcom, Cable, Media and Internet related sectors to create
marketing initiatives based on music and entertainment that migrate new
customers and subscribers. Buziak with over 30 years of management
experience and relationships in the Entertainment Industry has been key
in navigating through the numerous intellectual property and rights
issues that are paramount in the use and licensing of content.
His
clients have included AT&T, Cablevision, TCI, Liberty Media, and
Nielsen Media Research. He played an active role as a board member and
consultant in the development and eventual sale of Paradigm Music
Entertainment to Liberty Media, which became the management and
backbone of TCI Music and Liberty Digital. He was a board member of
inVentures a U.K. investment group and initiated a merger with Redwood
Partners a U.S. corporate search firm to create a multi-platform
international consulting and venture group. He has also been a board
member or advisor and consultant to several New Media, gaming, and
Internet companies for nearly fifteen years.
In addition to his tenure at RCA and TriStar, Buziak has been President and Chief Operating Officer of Chameleon Entertainment (a joint venture with Time Warner and Elektra Entertainment), International and UK Managing Director of Arista Records, and, held positions at a number of other music and entertainment organizations, including EMI Music worldwide.
