BOB BUZIAK..................................RESUME
Buziak & Company LLC was formed on a foundation of creative skills and
business management experience that spanned over three decades in the
Music and Entertainment sector.
From the early 80's till the mid 90's Buziak held the positions of
President, RCA Records; President, Sony's TriStar Music Group; and
founder, President, Chameleon/Elektra Entertainment at the Warner Music Group.
Buziak, prior to that period, built a group of companies in Management,
Production and Publishing, upon returning from his assignment as Arista's
U.K. and European Managing Director in 1978. Buziak Inc. handled the
careers of twenty-five clients, who produced and wrote the music for
many of the major superstars during the late 1970's and the early 80's.
Buziak Inc. and its team were responsible for over 150 million units of
recorded music sales worldwide. The company had Production, Publishing
and Music Supervision deals with MCA, Warner, Paramount, HBO Premier
Films, Fox and Universal Pictures.
Buziak began his career in the Music Industry in 1968 after spending 6
years at Ford Motor Company in the Styling Division and attending their
Automotive School of Design at the University of Michigan, earning a BS
and AD in engineering and design. He learned the music business from the
ground up, holding positions in distribution and promotion with companies
in Detroit and San Francisco; subsequently joining Capitol/EMI Music in Los
Angeles, where he held senior national management positions, in
promotion and Artists and Repertoire, working with the worldwide EMI
Records group.
